My goal is to share more insight on who I am as a person and not only what I do.
As a professional athlete, I have experienced many challenges on the road to becoming one of the greatest in the world. From spending ample time in the Minor Leagues, working my way up to the Majors, I've experienced many of the challenges that make up life in the lower leagues. I have also dealt with pitching mortalities, the reality that accompanies the recovery process of elbow surgery. And the battle of rehabilitating the body to pitch as effectively as once before.
With life's balance, I have also experienced the highs that go hand in hand with being part of a World Series team. During the journey of establishing myself as a bona fide Major League pitcher, I've had the opportunity to live my life in some of the greatest cities in our country while enjoying the thrill of standing on the mound surrounded by the most die hard fans in the world.
